Design Services and Impact
Collaborating with MMC Catering and George Henri Chidiac Architects, we were commissioned to develop the visual and brand identity for Sawah. Drawing inspiration from Abdel Halim Hafez’s iconic song “Sawah” and the vibrant Egyptian culture, we crafted an Arabesque theme that encapsulated the essence of Egypt’s golden era.

The design elements featured visuals of old Egyptian movies, legendary actors, and bustling street scenes, evoking a sense of nostalgia and cultural richness. Given that the café primarily caters to a female clientele, we incorporated delicate and feminine touches into the branding materials.

For instance, the bill holders and coasters were designed with mirrors on one side, adorned with intricate patterns on the other, and crafted using premium leather to exude elegance and sophistication. This thoughtful approach ensured that every aspect of Sawah’s identity resonated with its target audience, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere that honors the cultural heritage it represents.
